Brentford crash out of the Carabao Cup on Penalties at the hands of League Two Gillingham.
Gillingham sat 77 places below Brentford before the match, but the Gills found an equaliser in
the 75th minute to force penalties after the Bees opened the scoring after only 3 minutes. Mikkel
Damsgaard missed the crucial spot-kick for the bees in sudden death to ensure Gillingham
progressed to the fourth round.
