The uncertain future of Harry Kane

The future of Tottenham Hotspur’s star man Harry Kane is looking bleak as according to Sky Sports, Kane could hand in a transfer request if his club fail to qualify for Champions league football this season.
Frustration and impatience continuously growing for Harry Kane after what looks like to be another year without any silverware for Tottenham Hotspur. The star striker, rightly held as one of the best forwards in the world, of course would be agitated that a player of his class might not even reach Champions league football next season with his club.
Despite voicing his love for Spurs and that it would take a lot to take him from the North London club, Kane has stated that he will start looking for a new challenge if the lack of silverware and out of the top 4 finishes continue. This of course has caused panic for Tottenham and the fans, with Kane being such a vital part of the team, not only as a goal machine but a captain too.
So, if Kane was to leave Spurs, where would he go?
There are two potential clubs that Kane could potentially find himself in within the next season. Two Premier league giants in the same city, Manchester United and Manchester City. Here’s why:
Manchester United
With the most likely departure of Edison Cavani at the end of this season, the Red Devils could be without a key striker. Harry Kane would slot perfectly into this side, playing amongst Rashford and Greenwood very nicely. Kane would also find himself back in the champions league with Manchester United (at the time of writing this) currentle nestled in 2nd place and still challenging for the Premier league title, which also offers Kane the chance to finally get his hands on a Premier league winners medal potentially in the next few seasons if he was to move to Old Trafford.
Manchester City
Very similar reasons as to why Kane could switch from Lily white to the blue moon. Club legend Aguero has announced this is his final season in the blue side of Manchester and obviously, Kane is the most suited man to replace the clinical Argentinian. Again, even if he chose City over United, he would mostly likely win the league as well as consistent champions league football, maybe even getting another chance at a UEFA Champions league final. However, given the amount of money Manchester City like to spend and their capability of attracting any type of player, I could imagine City opting for someone like Haaland. A much younger established talent who is almost as consistent as the Englishman.
Both clubs are very similar regarding reasons why Kane could potentially end up in either side of Manchester. However, only time will tell if Kane remains at Tottenham, or if he choses to leave to fulfil his greatness and bolster his trophy cabinet.
