The game became too much for Everton players and their fans
When, beloved Captain Seamus Coleman made a costly mistake that allowed Salah to make 3-1 to Liverpool. This took his season tally to 19 in all competitions, early in the second half. But Liverpool were not finished with Everton yet, after Diogo Jota made it 4-1 in the 79th minute.

This result means that it is now eight Premier League games without a win for Benitez’s Everton. After the result he stated that ‘the third goal changed everything’ but ‘we are talking about key players missing, and maybe these key players are very important for the rest to play at their level’. It is clear Benitez is hinting about Toffee talisman Dominic Calvert-Lewin. But with Everton currently sat 14th in the Premier league and many fans showing their frustration. It could mean lights out for Benitez and his time with Everton.

Whereas on the other side of merseyside, Liverpool have now scored at least two goals in their last 18 games and sit third in the Premier League table, just two points behind leaders Chelsea. ‘I liked what I saw and it was by far the best performance we’ve done at Goodison. We can put emotions to the side” says Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp. So with a calm and convincing victory in the derby and Wolverhampton Wanderers next, will anything stop Liverpool or better yet Mohammed Salah?
